Hello readers!
The ABOVE LINK will take you to the only place I’ve listed my work since 2002 – AMAZON BOOKS under the pen name S.W. Laro. However you might feel about Jeff B. (and I’m no great fan) he started Amazon long ago as a platform for vanity press. OR, Indy authors like myself seeking a place to sell some books. That’s how it all began. I’m loyal to his original vision. As traditional publishing made it impossible in a modern era for any writer to secure a ‘book deal’, be a deal with a major pub house and/or literary/pulp agent, Amazon’s bookshelf and self-publishing format enabled me to create, list, and offer my novels etc., to everyone 24/7.
What other choice did I and millions of writers have? None.
So, we did n’ do our level best to find a morsel of success in an industry saturated with, if I may just say it, garbage. IF YOU DO VISIT my work on Amazon Books you shall see a variety of great covers I made myself and prices to order copies. Using the SAMPLE feature, you can also review a chapter or two at random before you purchase. The novels I added as KINDLE downloads you can get for much less than the listed price or FREE. Enjoy!
My goal is simple after so many years at this lunatic game of writing one’s wares as I call it – SELL SOME FICTION. Period.
And, of course attract H. Wood and Indy content streaming platforms to actually read the novels and screenplays listed on my authors site off Amazon. ALL writers wish to sell some of their work to the movies. Why? H. Wood, for better or worse, is who BUYS novels and makes them into cinema – it’s how it’s been done since the birth of Holly Wood Land a century ago.
With that folks, I hope some of what I upload here as text etc., sparks some interest in my style. And please, visit the AMAZON LINKS set on some of the Word Press pages and view my titles. You jus’ might find a story or two that tweaks your fancy. I hope so.
