(A Vendor’s Tale)
written, directed and starring Christopher Scotellaro
All of these LINKS are excerpts to the full-length Indy feature only viewable on VIMEO. YouTube won’t upload the entire film legally due to the soundtrack copyright issues. The following clips offer a glimpse into an iconic Indy film that won the NY International Film/Video festival in 1996 and demonstrated the writer’s talent for story, even though the script and film weren’t meant for commercial sales to theaters. It was a showcase Indy on many levels and in honor of my beloved father, LOUIS, I’ve posted edited snipets to YT.
Above LINK is the new opening to film in 4K format with enhanced imagery and sound! CHECK IT OUT!
Below, is the LINK on VIMEO the only online platform to watch the entire movie: https://vimeo.com/211111314?&login=true#_=_
ENJOY!

In honor of our beloved father, Mr. Louis ‘Scotty’ Scotellaro who transcended on 9/11 at 9:19pm in a Vermont Hospice Center surrounded by family, as everyone knows the Indy Film to be written about here and many other social media platforms would never have been finished without his help. By help I don’t mean just financial. But a lifetime of support and patience as my father during the tumultuous years of his compromised son. I haven’t any idea anymore if my fiction listed on Amazon Books or the essays written here on Word Press site, as well as on Facebook or the most recent ‘stuff’ on Substack shall ever be found.
At this point in life, at 62 years of age, what does it matter? It only does related to my father, when he was in the body alive and now in the afterworld realm that he may know his son indeed found success. Somewhere. At some moment on this divine planet of pain – our shared Mother Earth.
My suggestion is, if you wish to know about the story of OSCAR PHITKIN then watch it on Vimeo first, perhaps order a copy of the stage play ‘Oscar Phitkin’ (A Vendor’s Tale) and continue reading my Substack detailing the timeline of how the film was shot one hot summer in New York City in the year 1996. Where in N.Y.C.? We filmed the entire movie on the West Side in what is called HELL’S KITCHEN – the hottest place in in the city even in winter time…
So, see ya’s on the good ol’ Substack…!
