(the above LINK to a short docky about my father Louis ‘Scott’ Scotellaro – R.I.P. September 11th, 2025, Vermont. He transcended at 9:19 pm in hospice surrounded by beloveds. I inhaled my father’s last breath on this Earth; up close and hauntingly divine. The ‘brutal sacred’ as I call it now.

There are tributes to out father on FB (Mato Nagi) and on YouTube with various clips of the Indy classic we both did together in 1996 – OSCAR PHITKIN (A Vendor’s Tale) that won the NY International Film/Video Festival for a feature shot on digi-beta format not filmstock.

He was my best friend and greatest mentor any son could have imagined growing up with. Louis never received the kind of attentive and spectacular loving support from his own father. Yet, with his family, he created a wholly magical life for us in Vermont most of all at the Chittenden House on Bausch Lane.

STAY TUNED for more photographs of my dad as THE DIORMA MAN!

In further honor of Louis, (our first Xmas holiday after Louis’s transcendence) his Spirit plugged in on Christmas afternoon at around 3:45pm when on YouTube as I scrolled through movies and old holiday specials including Andy William Christmas Special. Suddenly, there was a Rod Serling special titled, ‘Carol for Another Christmas’ (1964). The cast was spectacular: Ben Gazzara, Sterling Hayden, Robert Shaw, Pat Hingle, Eva Marie Saint, Steve Lawrence, Britt Ekland, and the epic Peter Sellers (WHEW!) and was directed by the great Joseph L. Mankiewicz with music by the immortal Henry Mancini.
